Because unlike some of the other companies out there, the CFS Training Group instructors are actual TRAINED Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors. Our instructors truly live by the gun and trust their lives behind it every day. They continually strive to improve their trade and become more proficient gunfighters.
Every class is instructed by a MINIMUM of 2 Instructors to insure a safe experience. By having 2-4 Instructors at every class, we are able to insure each student gets the most from their class experience by increasing the 1 on 1 teaching time with each student and insure that every student leaves with the same amount of holes they showed up with.
We offer our certification at the industry standard price of $100, but offer other included extras that most companies don't, like FREE fingerprinting. Getting your fingerprints done at a police department is sometimes a hassle. Prints can only be taken during certain hours, they are normally done in the jail (meaning you have to be searched), and they cost money. By using The Weapons Place, that is not a problem. We will do your finger prints for FREE!

Cost is $90 per seat or $150 per couple. Classes have limited seating. Payment of $25.00 is required to reserve a seat. Remaining payment will be collected upon your arrival to class. Once payment is received, then further details will be sent to the email that you provide, usually within 7-14 days prior to the class date. If reserving a seat within the 72 hours prior to a class, details will be sent ASAP. Reserve payment is non-refundable, so please ensure you are able to attend before making payment. If a scheduling emergency does come up, reserve payment may be used towards another class up to 6 months from the originally scheduled class date.
A 25% Service Discount is offered for full-time/active duty Police, Fire, EMS, and any current or prior Military with DD214 or ID. Discount is also extended to the spouses of deployed service members and current full-time Police Officers. Police, Fire, or EMS Reserve/Auxiliary/Volunteer status does not qualify. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if you qualify for this discount.
Private classes are available upon request. Private classes require an 10 person minimum or the monetary equivalent ($1000). Private classes can be taught on weekends or some weekdays, and can be taught at another location (i.e., your business, camp, residence) as long as suitable teaching environment is available.
